Artist Statement

Narrative and Visual Storytelling

My works have explored a multitude of different mediums throughout the years. I bring up the idea of narrative storytelling through my fine artworks and deal with branding and corporate design with my digital assignments. As I mature and grow, I plan on marrying these two worlds into one. Visual storytelling is something I have been interested in for a long time, and it can be seen in a lot of my works by the use of shapes, texture, and color. In more recent years, I have been learning the fundamentals of design in a corporate setting. On a more personal level, a passion project of mine has been designing and illustrating a comic. The need to present a narrative structure in my works is very evident in this passion project of mine.
