As an artist, I seek to capture the organic nature of life as contrasted by the refined spirit of technology. I create my work with a both delicate touch and practiced skill. My work spans various mediums, from the traditional to the digital. I produce both static and interactive images in digital formats, best viewed from the screen. My traditional work is in carbon mediums such as charcoal and graphite. As with most digital artists, my traditional work has a technical edge. However, I use the “happy accidents” that occur when creating a work of art to my advantage, and often use them to emphasize the character of a piece. I like to create both comic and serious pieces, to emulate nature of life, the good times and the bad. My work is an exploration of my fascination with the juxtaposition of the natural and the technical.
