Joan is the mother of Dylan and Jillian. She works as a kindergarten teacher in Key Biscayne. In addition, she practice and teaches classes on the healing art known as Jikiden Reiki. Joan, like her children and her mother Juana, is very sensitive to the emotions of others, and can always tell when someone is going through strong feelings.
