CHILDHOOD

Rhett and Link met in 1984 on the first day of first grade at elementary school in Buies Creek, North Carolina. Their teacher, Ms. Locklear, held them both in from recess for writing profanity on their desks (“hell” and “dam” if you’re wondering). She sentenced them to coloring pictures of mythical beasts. They’ve been best friends ever since.

CAREER

Their comedic career began when YouTube was launched in 2006. They quickly embraced the platform by populating it with comedic songs, surreal sketches, and low-budget local commercials that went on to become viral sensations.

Their breakthrough hit, the unconventional and innovative talk show, Good Mythical Morning, launched in 2012 and has since built a following of nearly 15 million subscribers to its over 1300 episodes. Rhett and Link have a combined total of 5 billion lifetime views across all of their channels.

Rhett and Link wrote the New York Times Best-Selling book, Rhett and Link's Book of Mythicality: A Field Guide to Curiosity, Creativity, and Tomfoolery. The book serves as an ultimate guide to living a "Mythical" life, featuring stories and photos from their lifelong friendship, as well as illustrated tips for laughing more, learning more, and never taking yourself too seriously.
