Hello, my name is Kinshasa Dalen, and I'm a senior Communication Studies student at the University of Tampa. In my free time I enjoy reading, drawing, napping, and listening to music. I would say that I am a loyal and dedicated person that values the select friendships that I do have. In my opinion, most people find me to be unapproachable and hard to open up. But once you get to know me, most find me funny and dynamic. I would describe myself as a perfectionist, a quality that is both a strength and downfall. I set the standard very high for myself, and so that makes me my own greatest enemy. In my life, I admire my mom and my grandparents the most. They are my role models because they've sacrificed so much for me and continue to pour into my life without hesitation. I admire my mom for her wisdom and common sense, and my grandparents for their willingness to give to others.
When I work, I love both the process and the result, but if I had to choose, I like the result more. I would say that my ideal creative activity is when I draw and or paint. I like seeing a concept that I envisioned in my brain translated onto a page. Seeing all the work I've put in result in a beautiful product makes me happy and makes me feel proud of myself.
